Recognizing Nursing Excellence

We are pleased to announce the accomplishments of three nurses on 4SW Oncology at SM-UCLA whose abstracts were chosen to be presented at the 38th Annual Oncology Nursing Society Conference in Washington, DC. Cynthia Carsten, RN, BSN, OCN (Implementing Bedside End-of-Shift Report in an Oncology Setting), Mac Haven Queyquep, RN, OCN (Code Blue: Journey to Confidence), and Pattie Jakel, RN, MN, AOCN (Strengthening Nurses' Voices in Ethically Difficult Situations) will showcase their work April 25-28, 2013.
