Patient Care Initiatives

As we strive to fulfill our mission to Heal Humankind one patient at a time, UCLA Health nursing has developed an evolving collection of evidence-based programs that help us to provide the highest level of care for our patients and their families.

Patient Care Initiatives is a focused approach to assess and implement best practices in patient care in the areas of patient education, safety, and collaboration within the interdisciplinary team.

We are seeking opportunities to expand these initiatives in new areas of care.  The Department of Nursing Research and Education welcomes your clinical expertise and passion for excellence in developing how we can provide the highest quality patient care.  Please feel free to contact us at jscherrey@mednet.ucla.edu
